    Description

The 400 MHz spectrometer (Bruker) is equipped with two room temperature sample heads (BBO and BBI) and is used for various applications, including the following:
-Structural elucidation of isolated organic molecules (natural products), e.g., from foods
-Verification of organic syntheses and their intermediates
-Exact quantification of isolated/synthesized organic compounds (e.g., flavours, aromas, syntheses, etc.) based on PULCON
-Measurement of interactions between high molecular weight fractions (> 5 kDa) and small molecules (e.g., odorants, flavorings, etc.)
-Untargeted screening of food samples and human samples
    -Measurement of heteroatoms (e.g., 31P)
